Service Description
kamra is a community-driven surf video sharing platform where users can:
- Upload surf videos from mobile devices
- View recently uploaded surf videos
- Request videos from specific surf spots
- Earn and spend karma points
User Accounts
- You must create an account to upload videos
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
Content Guidelines
Acceptable Content
You may upload surf videos that you have the right to share. Videos should be:
- Relevant to surfing
- Your own content or content you have permission to share
- Appropriate for all ages
Prohibited Content
You may NOT upload content that:
- Violates copyright or intellectual property rights
- Contains nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material
- Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats
- Promotes illegal activities
- Contains spam or misleading content
- Is not related to surfing
Upload Restrictions
- Mobile only: Videos can only be uploaded from mobile phones
- Rate limits: Upload frequency is limited (configurable by admin)
- File size: Maximum 100MB per video
- Duration: Maximum video length is configurable
- Auto-deletion: Videos are automatically deleted after 12 hours
Karma System
- Earn karma by uploading videos
- Spend karma to make video requests
- Karma cannot be transferred between users
- Karma has no monetary value
- We reserve the right to adjust karma balances if abuse is detected
Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of videos you upload. By uploading, you grant kamra a license to display and distribute your content within our service.
Our Service: The kamra platform, logo, and design are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Remove any content that violates these terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Modify or discontinue the service at any time
Disclaimer
kamra is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the service. We are not responsible for content uploaded by users.
Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
